The severe throbbing of pain or a pulsing sensation attacking one side of your head is known as migraine. It usually causes nausea along with headaches, and the patient becomes sensitive to light and sound.
The patient can suffer from migraine attacks for hours to days, and sometimes, the pain is so unbearable that his/her activities also get affected.
Symptoms-
1. Mood swings
2. Excessive thirst and urination
3. Neck stiffness
4. Headaches on one side or both the sides
5. Head starts aching due to any head moment
6. One side of the face is numb
7. Nausea and vomiting
8. Lights and sounds become irritating
Causes-
1. Inheritance.
2. Hormonal changes in women during menstruation and pregnancy
3. Emotional triggers like stress, outbursts, etc.
4. Physical activities, like having sex, extra workouts, etc.
5. Irregular sleep patterns
6. Excessive consumption of alcohol
7. Bright lights, strong smells, and loud sounds may also trigger a migraine.
8. Using the wrong medication to wipe away the headache
Cure –
Antiseptic and analgesics are prescribed by doctors to treat migraines. However, by adapting
self-care patterns may also reduce the migraine.
